It's simple. Taking the time to make a plan is always time well spent.
Even Jesus alludes to this fact in the Gospel for this Sunday "Which of you wishing to construct a tower does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if there is enough for its completion?" Plan ahead.
Whether it's looking as far as the month ahead, as practical as the week ahead or even as simple as the day ahead...it's always beneficial to do it. To put at as cliché as possible... those who fail to plan, plan to fail.
For this reason, I give to you this simple Liturgical Calendar for September, on it you will find each of the days that the Church celebrates this month. As the faithful, we have the opportunity to live these out!
Click on the Calendar to download it! Print it and post it somewhere where you and your family can see it so you can joyfully anticipate the richness of our Catholic faith this month! Share it with your friends too. I would love to hear how you plan on celebrating September! Haley over at Carrots for Michaelmas has an awesome list of ways to celebrate September... go check them out.
Also.... Does anyone L O V E September as much as we do? It is one of our favorite months!
Bring on OKTOBERFEST.
Cheers, Pope Benedict.
